My journey into UNIX

Original written introduction

This is my journey into a UNIX like compter system

I am a student of Library- and Information Science,
and I want to learn how to program and understand computers :-D

What I want to learn from / with *UNIX:

• Programming:
• C/C++
• Ruby
• Python

present day update

I am now a librarian by education, and are still as interested in computers as ever. I really find the classic systems and methods quite fascinating. To write this paragraph, I am using the editor ed.

An update from the future

There have been a long road, which unfortunatley moved me away from UNIX and Linux, not to speak of my beloved GNU Emacs and ed, but I have woved to find this path again. More details to follow.
